Lorraine Iannone

Lorraine Iannone is our Patient Care Coordinator. She has been with Dr Sam Romano since 2006.She has been an administrator in the medical field since 2002.

Lorraine understands how overwhelming dental insurance, treatment and scheduling can be. Therefore she always strives to make your dental experience as comfortable and effortless as possible

Lorraine has her Dental Radiology License so she may be found assisting patients at the front desk or in the back operatory.

She is dedicated to helping patients with every step of their dental care whether it is processing insurance claims, scheduling an appointment or supporting an anxious patient. Lorraine’s goal is to make your dental experience as pleasant as possible.

Lorraine volunteers her time each year with the annual “Give Kids A Smile” program with the rest of Dr. Romano and his team at his office in Madison NJ,

She enjoys spending time with her husband Fred and three children when she is not at work.

 

Kay Hurley Lamm, B.S., R.D.H., dental hygienist with Dr. Romano in Madison NJ

Kay Lamm

Kay Hurley Lamm, B.S., R.D.H., has been a dental hygienist with Dr. Romano since 1996.

She was instrumental in developing the office’s Hygiene Maintenance Program and New Patient Experience. A graduate of Union College/Union County Technical Institute’s Dental Hygiene program, Kay has over 30 years experience in the field of dentistry.

Kay was awarded highest academic achievement honors in the Allied Health Services Department when she received her Bachelor of Science from Montclair State University

Kay has worked in dental specialty practices, such as periodontics and prosthodontics, and is able to incorporate her past experience into our practice. In addition to her clinical experience, she was a faculty member at UMDNJ-NJ Dental School for five years as a clinical instructor in the Dental Hygiene program. A member of the American Dental Hygienist Association (ADHA), Kay continues to keep her current self in the field of dentistry. She has taken classes in root planing and curettage, emergency medicine, infection control, nitrous oxide sedation monitoring and local anesthesia administration. Kay continues to grow in the field of dentistry by exceeding the required continuing education credits required by the state of NJ.

Because commitment to the community is an important part of our office, Kay developed the office’s Oral Cancer Screening Day, a service that provides free oral cancer exams and information about risk factors and prevention to the community. In addition, she encouraged the office to become involved with the Madison High School Educational Foundation Annual 5K Run/ Walk and has participated in the walk for the past three years. She received medals in her age category for the past two! Kay also volunteers each year in helping Dr. Romano and the team with the “Give Kids A Smile” program. Dr Romano opens the doors of his private practice to participate in the Give Kids A Smile program held each February in his office in Madison NJ.

Kay and her husband have two sons who live in Chatham and Vermont.

 

Ginny Hansen works at Dr. Romano in Madison NJ

Ginny Hansen

Ginny has been in the dental profession since 1990 when she started out as a dental assistant. She then received her CDA/RDA at the Institute of Health Education in NJ. Shortly after both her sons were born she decided to return to college to become a dental hygienist. After completing her studies at Bergen Community College, she obtained her A.A.S, RDH. Ginny has completed a certification in Nitrous Oxide Sedation Monitoring. She has always enjoyed the dental world and working with her patients. Her passion is nutrition and is looking forward to continuing her education to further educate her dental patients and the co-relation between overall health and oral health.

Ginny is also a volunteer for the annual “Give Kids A Smile” program that the team participates in each year in February in Dr Romano’s Madison NJ office.

She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and 2 teenage sons.

 

Jackie Iannone works at Dr. Romano's Madison NJ Family Dentist

Jackie Iannone

Jackie Iannone, R.D.A, has been working with Dr. Romano since 2006. She has been in the dental field since 2001 and graduated from The Institute for Health Education in 2003.

Jackie handles all aspects of laboratory preparation. Her keen attention to detail is invaluable when assisting Dr. Romano during complex restorative procedures.

Most of the procedures in our office are done “four-handed” with an assistant directly helping Dr. Romano. This allows state-of-the-art dentistry to be done as expeditiously as possible.

Jackie’s pleasant personality brings a sense of serenity to the office as she is able to put anxious or afraid patients at ease.

Jackie continues to grow in the field of dentistry by exceeding the required continuing education credits required by the state of NJ. Jackie is certified to assist in Nitrous Oxide Sedation monitoring.

Jackie is an excellent communicator and can clarify any questions you may have regarding treatment procedures. Additionally, she and Jacqui Bartels ensure that infection control guidelines are fulfilled or exceeded by following a strict protocol for sterilization of equipment.

Jacqui Bartels, R.D.A. Dental Assistant in Madison NJ

Jacqui Bartels

Jacqui Bartels, R.D.A. has been working with Dr. Romano since 2010. She is a graduate from Morris County Community College with Associates in Humanities. She continued her education and graduated from Berdan Institute in Wayne, NJ as a Dental Assistant.

Jacqui’s beautiful smile was created at birth and enhanced with Invisalign in our office. She can answer any questions you may have regarding the Invisalign process.

Jacqui volunteers her time with the annual “Give Kids A Smile” program that Dr. Sam Romano participates in each year in February in our Madison NJ office.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her puppy, Bacon as well as with her friends at the beach.
